Miami’s Luxury Condominium Boom Continues

Aria on the Bay, one of the most recent luxury condominiums, has 648 apartments. Aria on the Bay, one of the newest luxury condo towers in the Miami Art and Entertainment District, has been opened. It is a building of 648 units distributed in 53 floors, according to the Melo Group, the company that developed the project.

The name of the project, according to Carlos Melo, director of Grupo Melo, is inspired by the opera and refers to its location in the center of the city, near cultural and artistic venues. Its architectural design, he added, stands out for its glass structure and scalloped facade, “which seem to evoke the shapes of the crests of the waves in Biscayne Bay, and the curved balconies make reference to some of the most important theaters of the world.”

Something that stands out from the tower is its penthouse of three levels, which have a total area that goes from 240 square meters to 445 square meters, which are already sold in their entirety. The luxury tower also offers its tenants terraces and private rooftop pools and outdoor summer kitchens. The condos feature floor-to-ceiling glass, private elevator access, open-plan living rooms, European-style kitchens, custom-designed modern cabinets and private terraces with panoramic views of Biscayne Bay, Miami Beach, and the city skyline, among others amenities.

Design of Condos

“It’s a design that conveys luxury, elegance, and sophistication. Its semicircular balconies make reference to those that are inside the classical opera houses. At first sight, they seem to stagger, creating a series of cylinders in motion. Its design could also be interpreted as a score or as curves that dance to the rhythm of a melody, “said Bernardo Fort-Brescia, director of Arquitectonica, the company in charge of the design of the tower.

Amenities

Among the amenities to which their condominium owners have access, there are elements such as two swimming pools with views of the sunrise or sunset, a Jacuzzi, grills for grilling meats and rest areas. It also has a private spa, massage treatment rooms, a state-of-the-art gym, yoga room, cinema room, games room, teenage room, children’s playroom and meeting rooms.

“Beyond its privileged location in Miami, facing the sea, with views of the bay, in a luxurious environment, it is a project that will offer residents access to a variety of additional amenities and activities for all tastes and all ages, theaters, shopping centers, galleries, restaurants and more. And although 90 percent of the units were already purchased by people from 42 countries, it is still possible to acquire a property in Aria on the Bay,” concluded Carlos Melo.
